Laboratory: from request to verified result
A request arrives with the patient’s identity. The collector labels each specimen with a barcode at collection, and the laboratory receives it by scan, or rejects it with a recorded reason. Tests are LOINC-coded, results return to the requesting clinician, and each result stays linked to its original request. Quality control results and microbiology cultures have records of their own in the laboratory workspace.
Imaging: from request to report
An imaging request is ordered and scheduled, and the study is acquired with its images attached. A radiologist writes a preliminary report, signs the final report and can add an addendum later. Radiology supports DICOM viewing, which is distinct from a connection to a named modality or device.
Interfaces and plan dependencies
Care can receive HL7 v2 result messages from an analyser, or from the engine in front of it, through an endpoint secured for each analyser, mapping that analyser’s test codes to Care tests and returning an HL7 acknowledgement. No universal device connection is promised: every analyser and imaging modality needs a site-specific technical assessment before it enters the agreed scope. Laboratory and Radiology are included in Care Clinics Pro and Care Hospitals, and can be added to Care Clinics. Registration and billing support this work rather than opening it.
Evidence for quality review
Evaluate Flow clinical audits and Flow Documents for document versions, signatures and dates. These records can support preparation for an ISO 15189 assessment, but software use does not award accreditation or replace laboratory quality judgement.

Extend the record into quality review
Begin with Care Clinics Pro for laboratory requests, laboratory work and radiology alongside the outpatient record and claims scope. Select Flow Quality for available internal audit tools and Flow Documents for controlled facility records. These are separate commercial modules, even when the team evaluates them together. Where a health data exchange is needed, review the regulatory pack, licensing and connection scope for the site. Confirm analyser and imaging connections individually before relying on a specific device workflow.

Yes. The described workflow labels specimens at collection and receives them by scan. Demonstrate your request and collection process to review how that sequence fits the laboratory.

No universal analyser connection is claimed. Confirm the specific device, interface and site requirements with the product team before including analyser connectivity in the implementation scope.

No. Records and audit tools can support evidence preparation, including for ISO 15189 review, but accreditation depends on the laboratory’s systems, practice and assessment by the relevant body.

The broader Flow Quality indicators capability is still being completed. Available clinical audit tools and document workflows can be evaluated separately without assuming live indicator dashboards or automatic calculations.
