Chains running one operating model across their branches, rolled out in phases
For medical facility chains
Give each branch a clear way to work as the chain expands. Connect care, patient relationships and operational records while keeping local teams responsible for the work they deliver.
One operating model, controlled local variation
A chain needs registration, services, enquiries and policy approval to work the same way in every branch, while local managers keep enough context to run their own facility. In Care the service catalogue is shared. Each branch chooses the services it offers, starting from a preset, and carries its own cash prices, which can be reviewed and updated in bulk from a file.
Illustrative example: opening a fourth branch
This example uses synthetic data. The chain has three branches on the standard setup: Care Clinics, Engage core with Leads and pipeline, and Flow Documents and HR. For the new branch, the team picks the outpatient clinic service preset, reviews the branch’s cash prices and loads them from a file, and assigns staff to the facility. Training, data review and local licensing checks are still needed before it opens: changing entitlements does not by itself make a new facility ready.
Essential first, optional later
- Essential for the first branch: registration, clinical documentation, billing and medical records from Care Clinics.
- Add as the branch needs them: Engage front office, client records, pipeline and the Care connection; Flow HR, Documents and Policies; Reports.
The platform uses one codebase with configuration and branch entitlements. A common setup should not imply that every specialty or local obligation is identical.
Group governance is on the sibling page
Mixed services, acquired facilities and group visibility are covered on the multi-facility groups page. This page is for chains that repeat one model across similar branches.
Bring a typical branch and an exception
Bring a typical branch and one with different services. Follow an enquiry into Care, review the staff record and inspect a policy approval, so the chain can see what can be standardised and where a local decision is needed before expansion.
What you open with
A starting selection for your evaluation, not every feature in the chosen plan. Each module shows how it is bought, and a module marked as still being completed is not ready to deploy.

Expand through a repeatable branch model
Use a representative branch to agree the Care plan, Engage add-ons and Flow modules before extending the model. The platform uses one codebase, with configuration and branch entitlements shaping the rollout rather than separate custom software for every site. Add capabilities when a branch’s services or responsibilities need them. Keep training, data preparation and local review in the implementation plan: changing entitlements supports expansion but does not by itself make a new facility operationally ready.
Common questions
-
This page covers a repeatable operating model across branches that offer similar services. The multi-facility groups page covers mixed services, acquired facilities and group visibility. Both use the same products, with scope agreed for the organisation.
-
The described approach uses one codebase with configuration and branch entitlements. Review your differences during scoping rather than assuming a separate custom build is required or that every request needs customisation.
-
A branch-by-branch approach can be scoped around the shared operating model and entitlements. Confirm data preparation, training and local readiness for each stage rather than treating activation alone as a completed rollout.
-
The supported cross-product flow carries an Engage enquiry into Care without retyping. Select the applicable products and connection scope, and retain human review where existing patient identity matches need confirmation.
-
No automatic all-inclusive entitlement is implied. NXH One describes the shared foundation; the Care plan, Engage core and add-ons, and Flow modules still need to be selected for the chain’s requirements.
