Groups with mixed services, acquired facilities and local ways of working
For multi-facility groups
Keep patient and staff context connected as your group grows. Give facilities the records they need locally, with a clearer group view of care, workforce information and financial activity.
The group problem: mixed services and local practice
A growing group often holds facilities that opened at different times, were acquired, or offer different services. Each site has its own working day, but the group needs to see across them. Reception needs the right patient record, HR needs staff licence information, and finance needs to know which facility is behind a transaction.
NXH One describes Care, Engage and Flow working on a shared data foundation. For a group that includes one patient record across branches, a price list per facility, staff records with licences across sites, group reporting and one ledger. Select the Care plan and Flow modules that match the work each site performs. NXH One is not a separate product to install.
Illustrative example: two facilities, one patient
This example uses synthetic data. A group has a polyclinic and a recently acquired dental centre. A patient registered at the polyclinic books at the dental centre and is found through the shared record rather than registered again. The dental centre’s own price list applies to the charge. A manager assigned to both facilities chooses a workspace at sign-in and can review facility and group dashboards. A receptionist assigned only to the polyclinic works within that facility, because access follows each person’s facility assignments.
Choosing between this page and the chain page
Choose this page when the group is mixed: different services, acquired sites and local variation. If you are repeating one standard model across many similar branches, see medical facility chains.
Bring two facilities to the demo
Follow one patient, one staff record and one financial example across two representative facilities. Review which information is shared and which stays facility-specific. NextHealth’s position within Alpha Health Group brings healthcare operating and consulting experience to that discussion, without replacing your own governance decisions.

Connect patient engagement when the group needs it
Begin with the Care plan that fits your facilities and select Flow for the staff, document and quality workflows you need. Add Engage core and relevant add-ons when enquiry ownership, booking, packages or campaigns become a group priority. Care connection supports the described clinical and commercial handover, with patient matches reviewed by a person. NXH One describes these selected products sharing records; it is not another system to install or a requirement to buy every module across the group.
Common questions
-
No. NXH One describes Care, Engage and Flow working on the shared data foundation. Select the products and modules your group needs rather than assuming a separate fourth application is required.
-
Yes. Care keeps one patient record across the group’s branches. Demonstrate your branch workflow and review the access arrangements before agreeing the implementation across facilities.
-
Yes. Care supports a price list per facility. Review representative services and financial records so the team can show how local pricing sits within the wider group workflow.
-
Flow HR holds staff records and professional licence information across sites. Select HR for this scope; it does not imply automated authority verification or that licence records alone establish clinical privileges.
-
The solution is scoped to the work being performed. Discuss each facility’s plan and entitlements, then agree the shared operating model and rollout rather than treating the curated module list as a compulsory bundle.
-
This page covers groups with mixed services, acquired facilities and local variation, where the group needs visibility across sites. The medical chains page covers repeating one standard operating model across similar branches. Both use the same products.
