Hospital information system in Singapore
We invite care teams in Singapore to a readiness assessment for HIS software, starting with NEHR, certification and security requirements.
Best fit in Singapore
A private clinic or specialist group in Singapore evaluating a system against both clinical work and the national information-sharing environment. Recording a diagnosis in an EMR is one task. Contributing the required information through an accepted NEHR arrangement is another.
This is a Singapore readiness assessment, not a claim that NextHealth is an approved Singapore HIMS vendor.
Unresolved gates before product promotion
- Unresolved gates: Formal HIA conformity, a certified-provider directory listing, NEHR onboarding and the required security certification, including Cyber Essentials for HIMS vendors. None is claimed. Data portability expectations also apply.
- NEHR: A live NEHR contribution workflow is not confirmed. General exchange functionality does not establish national coding coverage or accepted data contribution.
- Grants: Grant eligibility is not asserted. Confirm the current scheme conditions directly.
- Hosting: Hosting and access requirements are assessed before rollout. No local environment is stated as provisioned.
- Interface language: The current product interface is English. A localised interface is not claimed.
The local workflow
MOH’s Health Information Act programme places NEHR contribution and security requirements at the centre of the discussion. Its current HIMS guidance describes connectivity, national coding and governance requirements. Confirm the applicable implementation phase with current MOH guidance. Singapore’s PDPA and the applicable healthcare information rules also need to be considered in processing and access arrangements.
National clinical information must not be treated as an unrestricted marketing data source. The facility’s purpose, access and permission decisions remain separate from the availability of campaign tools.
Confirm before scoping
- Which implementation phase of the Health Information Act applies to your clinic?
- Which NEHR contribution requirements and coding apply?
- Which certification, onboarding and portability evidence is needed before a deployment depends on the system?
- Which hosting and access arrangements apply?
Where the products fit
Care can demonstrate appointments, structured notes, prescribing, diagnostics and billing within the chosen plan. Engage supports booking, packages and patient relationships. Flow holds documents, credentials, incidents and complaints. Current workflow demonstrations are kept separate from local certification, exchange and deployment requirements.
Flow Quality indicators is still being completed. Review its availability separately before a rollout depends on it.
Begin with the required record
Begin with the clinic’s required record and contribution workflow, then review certification, onboarding, portability and security evidence. No grant eligibility, local deployment or accepted NEHR contribution is claimed.
Bring three things to your Singapore demo
A useful first conversation starts with your own work, not a feature list.
Book a demo-
A patient encounter
One representative visit, from registration to the signed clinical record.
-
A payer or payment workflow
The claim, invoice or package your team handles most, and the response it needs.
-
An evidence question
One licensing, quality or inspection requirement you need to be able to show.

Common questions
-
No HIA certification, certified-provider directory listing or required Cyber Essentials for HIMS certification is claimed. These requirements need demonstrated evidence before a Singapore clinical deployment depends on the system.
-
A live NEHR contribution workflow is not confirmed. General exchange functionality does not establish national coding coverage, accepted data contribution, provider onboarding or completion of the applicable certification requirements.
-
Do not assume national clinical information can be reused for marketing. Engage campaign functionality does not grant access or permission; the organisation must assess permitted purposes and applicable restrictions separately.
-
Grant eligibility is not asserted. Confirm the current scheme conditions and any vendor or system eligibility directly before budgeting for support; a market page is not evidence of programme approval.
-
Agree the actual hosting region, backups and support access before implementation. NextHealth uses an in-country cloud region wherever regulation requires it; this page does not assert that a local environment is already provisioned.
