Hospital information system in Vietnam

We invite care teams in Vietnam to review HIS software, with local record and payer needs assessed before we agree a proposed rollout for each site.

Best fit in Vietnam

A private hospital or specialist clinic in Vietnam replacing paper records, where clinical teams need reliable documentation, authorised review and a record that can be retrieved and assessed, and finance teams need the services and charges to be understandable in the same clinical context.

Forms, signing, hosting and payer interfaces to assess

  • Forms and electronic record: Applicable requirements, including Circular 13/2025/TT-BYT, are assessed against demonstrated functionality. No complete conformity assessment is claimed.
  • Signing: Care records are reviewed and signed by the clinician, and access is role based. Local electronic-signature requirements need separate confirmation.
  • Payer interface: An accepted Vietnam Social Security output or live connection is not confirmed.
  • Hosting and data: Processing, hosting and access arrangements belong in the deployment review. No local environment is stated as provisioned.
  • Interface language: The current product interface is English. A Vietnamese interface is not claimed.

The local workflow

Vietnam’s Ministry of Health identifies Circular 13/2025/TT-BYT as part of its electronic medical record implementation framework. The relevant facility scope, technical requirements and any applicable timetable need to be assessed against current official instructions, rather than inferred from a general EMR product description.

Vietnam also has a Personal Data Protection Law, No. 91/2025/QH15. No claim is made that generic FHIR capability replaces Vietnamese medical-record requirements, or that Care produces an accepted Vietnam Social Security submission. Discussion of national rules is not an assertion of compliant deployment.

Confirm before scoping

  • Which record forms must the facility use?
  • Which electronic-signature and retrieval requirements apply?
  • Which Vietnam Social Security format and payer interfaces are needed?
  • Which hosting, migration and data arrangements apply?
  • Is a Vietnamese interface needed?

Where the products fit

Care Clinics supports outpatient records and billing. Care Clinics Pro adds laboratory, radiology and claims. Care Hospitals adds inpatient, nursing, emergency and theatre workflows. Engage supports private-clinic booking, packages and patient relationships. Flow provides policies, credentials, incidents and action records for internal review. They do not constitute a verified mapping of all Vietnamese quality criteria.

Flow Quality indicators is still being completed. Review its availability separately before a rollout depends on it.

Illustrative example: a consultation record

This example uses synthetic data. It shows the current record workflow and labels the local gaps.

  1. A synthetic patient, Minh Tran, is registered and seen by a clinician, who records vitals, history and a consultation note.
  2. The clinician places an order, and a diagnostic result returns to the record.
  3. The clinician reviews and signs the record, and role-based access controls who can open it.
  4. Charges are raised from the visit and the bill is reviewed with the record.

Local gaps: Vietnamese-language forms, local electronic-signature requirements and prescribed reporting outputs are not confirmed and need separate confirmation.

Bring three things to your Vietnam demo

A useful first conversation starts with your own work, not a feature list.

Book a demo
  1. A patient encounter

One representative visit, from registration to the signed clinical record.

  2. A payer or payment workflow

The claim, invoice or package your team handles most, and the response it needs.

  3. An evidence question

One licensing, quality or inspection requirement you need to be able to show.

Common questions

  • A complete conformity assessment is not claimed. Review the applicable electronic-record requirements against demonstrated functionality, including signatures, storage and retrieval, before treating Care as suitable for the facility’s regulated workflow.

  • An accepted Vietnam Social Security output or live connection is not confirmed. The required format, coding, transaction process and receiving validation need specific evidence before inclusion in the proposed scope.

  • The current product interface is English. A Vietnamese interface is not confirmed. Review clinical forms, staff language and patient documentation needs alongside the product demonstration before planning implementation.

  • No. Flow provides selected audit and operational evidence, while Quality indicators remains unfinished. Local indicator definitions and validated outputs need confirmation rather than being inferred from the presence of audit records.

  • Agree the actual hosting region, backups and support access before implementation. NextHealth uses an in-country cloud region wherever regulation requires it; this page does not assert that a local environment is already provisioned.
