Hospital information system in Indonesia
We invite care teams in Indonesia to review HIS software, with SATUSEHAT and payer needs assessed before we agree a proposed rollout for each site.
Best fit in Indonesia
A private hospital or clinic group in Indonesia reviewing an electronic medical record. Maintaining the record and exchanging the required clinical information are related but separate tasks. The evaluation starts with an actual outpatient or inpatient journey, not an assumption that a generic interface will satisfy national requirements.
Early readiness table: terminology, identifiers, language and interfaces
- SATUSEHAT: A live SATUSEHAT connection is not confirmed. General FHIR support does not establish the national resources, identifiers, use cases, onboarding or facility activation.
- BPJS Kesehatan: A live BPJS connection or local claims-format implementation is not confirmed. A clinical exchange is not a claims connection.
- Terminology and identifiers: Local terminology and identifiers need to be tested against the proposed workflow.
- Language: The current product interface is English. Bahasa Indonesia is not claimed as a shipped interface.
- Hosting: Hosting and access requirements are assessed before rollout. No local environment is stated as provisioned.
The local workflow
SATUSEHAT is the Ministry of Health’s national health-data interoperability platform. Its published documentation defines FHIR-based resources and use cases. The ministry also links electronic medical records to the regulatory framework for medical records. Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law must also be considered in the processing and deployment assessment.
Care supports structured clinical notes, prescribing, diagnostic records and billing within the selected plan. A demonstration can follow how staff record a visit and how the result is reviewed. Only current workflows are demonstrated. General interoperability is not presented as completed SATUSEHAT onboarding.
Confirm before scoping
- Which SATUSEHAT use cases does your facility need?
- Which local identifiers and terminology apply?
- Which BPJS Kesehatan payer outputs are required?
- Is Bahasa Indonesia needed for staff or patient documents?
- Which hosting and support arrangements apply?
Where the products fit
Care Clinics supports outpatient records and billing. Care Clinics Pro adds laboratory, radiology and claims. Care Hospitals adds inpatient, nursing, emergency and theatre workflows. Engage can be evaluated for private patient booking and packages. Flow holds controlled documents, credentials, incidents and risk actions.
Flow Quality indicators is still being completed. Review its availability separately before a rollout depends on it.
A technical assessment for your use cases
Bring the SATUSEHAT use cases and payer outputs required for your facility. We will assess the exact use cases with you and agree the scope before any proposal. No completed Indonesian deployment or national-platform activation is claimed.
Bring three things to your Indonesia demo
A useful first conversation starts with your own work, not a feature list.
Book a demo-
A patient encounter
One representative visit, from registration to the signed clinical record.
-
A payer or payment workflow
The claim, invoice or package your team handles most, and the response it needs.
-
An evidence question
One licensing, quality or inspection requirement you need to be able to show.

Common questions
-
A live SATUSEHAT connection is not confirmed. General FHIR support does not establish the national resources, identifiers, use cases, onboarding or facility activation needed for an Indonesian implementation.
-
A live BPJS connection or local claims-format implementation is not confirmed. Review the required payer workflow and test output separately from SATUSEHAT clinical exchange before including it in the operational scope.
-
The current product interface is English. Bahasa Indonesia is not claimed as a shipped interface. Review staff language, patient documentation and training needs before agreeing whether the available product suits the project.
-
No complete regulatory conformity is claimed. Care provides clinical record workflows for evaluation; the facility must assess the applicable medical-record requirements, national exchange scope and organisational responsibilities before adoption.
-
Agree the actual hosting region, backups and support access before implementation. NextHealth uses an in-country cloud region wherever regulation requires it; this page does not assert that a local environment is already provisioned.
