HR and workforce
NextHealth FlowFlow HR is sold separately
NXH Flow HR brings staff records and daily workforce administration together. Keep each person’s documents, background checks and immunisations with their onboarding record. Attendance comes from supported ZKTeco fingerprint terminals or an Excel import, while shifts and leave follow request and approval workflows. HR can export staff and attendance information to Excel when it needs to review or share a working list. The team has a common record to maintain as people join, change their schedules and continue working across the facility.

Keep staff records connected to the working day
HR manages more than a staff list. A new starter needs documents and checks; an established colleague needs a shift change or leave approval. When these tasks sit in separate files, the team has to rebuild the context each time a question reaches the desk.
NXH Flow HR keeps a record for each person, including onboarding documents, background verification and immunisations. Signed onboarding agreements sit alongside that information. Attendance can be synchronised from clock-in devices, while shifts, leave requests and approvals are managed within the workforce workflow.
Attendance syncs from ZKTeco fingerprint terminals that connect over TCP/IP on port 4370. A small bridge program runs on a PC on the same network as the terminal, and a user syncs from Flow in a browser on that PC. Attendance records and staff records can also be loaded from Excel files. Other device brands are not currently listed as supported, so confirm your own device before relying on it.
Illustrative example: a late arrival and approved leave
This example uses synthetic data.
A nurse’s first punch arrives after the assigned shift starts, so the attendance record shows the status Late with the late minutes calculated against the shift. Later the nurse requests leave, a user with the leave approval permission approves it, and the days show as on leave. The same staff record feeds Flow Payroll, which reads the attendance summary, including absent and unpaid leave days, when a salary run is prepared. Payroll cannot run without Flow HR.
Use the demonstration to follow a new starter into a working roster, then request leave and review an attendance export. Confirm your device model before implementation. If payroll is also in scope, select Flow Payroll with HR so the salary workflow starts from the staff records you maintain.
