Credentials and licences
NextHealth FlowFlow HR is sold separately
NXH Flow keeps professional licences and supporting credentials on the staff record. Record the licence number, issuing authority and expiry date, with a copy available beside the person’s passport and primary source verification report. Staff receive reminders before their licences expire, and renewed details can be recorded with the new date. HR can review the supporting information in context rather than search separately for the document, the renewal date and the person it belongs to.

- Remind staff before their recorded professional licences reach expiry.
- Update the record with renewed details and expiry dates.
Licence evidence needs an owner and a current date.
Keep licence details close to the staff record
A renewal reminder is only useful when the team can find the licence and supporting information it refers to. HR needs to know whose licence is involved, which authority issued it and when it expires, without rebuilding that picture from a spreadsheet and separate document folders.
NXH Flow keeps those details on the staff record. Licence copies sit with the number, authority and expiry date, alongside passports and primary source verification reports. Reminders reach staff before expiry, and renewals are recorded with their updated dates so the record continues beyond the first upload.
HR owns the record. The licence number, issuing authority, expiry date and copy are entered on the staff record, and the passport and verification report are stored beside it. Storing a verification report is not the same as verifying a credential with the issuing authority, and holding a licence record does not grant clinical privileges. A reminder is a notification, and the facility decides what follows an expiry.
Illustrative example: a licence nearing expiry
This example uses synthetic data.
HR records a nurse’s professional licence with its number, issuing authority, expiry date and a scanned copy, and stores the passport and verification report on the same staff record. Ahead of the expiry date Flow sends the nurse a reminder. After renewal, HR enters the new expiry date and the new copy, so the record shows the current licence.
Bring a sample professional licence and a renewal example to the demonstration. Ask the team to show the supporting documents, reminder and updated date together. The facility remains responsible for checking professional eligibility and verifying the evidence; storing a verification report does not mean the software performs primary source verification.
