Hospital information system in India
We invite care teams in India to review HIS software, with ABDM and NHCX needs assessed before we agree a proposed rollout for each site.
Best fit in India
Start with a specific hypothesis rather than a general hospital-system search. A private hospital can review Care through an outpatient visit, a laboratory result and a billing record. A clinic group can review Engage for booking, packages and patient relationships when those are the priority. A facility preparing for NABH can review Flow records as supporting evidence.
What can be reviewed now and what needs separate assessment
- Can be reviewed now: Care through an outpatient visit, laboratory result and billing record. Engage booking, packages and patient relationships. Flow policy approvals, credentials, incidents and audit evidence for NABH preparation. Accreditation remains the facility’s assessment outcome.
- Needs separate assessment: ABDM milestones and ABHA services. Live NHCX exchange. Neither is confirmed. They require demonstrated implementation and onboarding evidence.
- Hosting: Hosting and access requirements are assessed before rollout. No local environment is stated as provisioned.
- Interface language: The current product interface is English. Indian-language interfaces is not claimed.
The local workflow
ABDM and its ABHA identity and consent-based exchange context are distinct from NHCX health insurance transactions. The NRCeS implementation guide defines specific FHIR profiles. General FHIR capability is only a starting point for evaluating them. Care’s structured records, code lookup and claims functionality do not establish ABDM milestone completion, ABHA services or live NHCX exchange.
India’s DPDP framework also belongs in the project review, with commencement and applicable duties checked for the proposed processing. For a hospital group, NXH One provides shared records across the selected products. It does not establish that every branch, payer or national service is already configured.
Confirm before scoping
- Which workflow comes first: outpatient, diagnostics, booking or evidence for NABH?
- Which ABDM and NHCX requirements apply, and who completes onboarding?
- Which coding content, payer and cashless claim formats are required?
- Which language, migration and hosting arrangements apply?
Where the products fit
Care Clinics supports outpatient records and billing. Care Clinics Pro adds laboratory, radiology and claims. Care Hospitals adds inpatient, nursing, emergency and theatre workflows. Engage supports booking, packages and patient relationships. Flow holds policy approvals, credentials, incidents and audit evidence.
Flow Quality indicators is still being completed. Review its availability separately before a rollout depends on it.
Plan the country scope
Bring a representative cashless claim and a clinical encounter. We will agree what is reviewed now and which national requirements need separate assessment and evidence.
Bring three things to your India demo
A useful first conversation starts with your own work, not a feature list.
Book a demo-
A patient encounter
One representative visit, from registration to the signed clinical record.
-
A payer or payment workflow
The claim, invoice or package your team handles most, and the response it needs.
-
An evidence question
One licensing, quality or inspection requirement you need to be able to show.

Common questions
-
ABDM certification, milestone completion and ABHA services are not confirmed in the product evidence. Review the actual implementation and onboarding results before relying on any national identity or exchange workflow.
-
Live NHCX submission is not confirmed. Care has claims records and general exchange capability, but the required profiles, transactions, participant onboarding and successful testing need separate evidence.
-
Flow provides selected policy, credential, incident and audit records for your facility to review. Those records support preparation; they do not confer accreditation or establish complete coverage of a NABH programme.
-
Start with Care Clinics for outpatient records and billing, Clinics Pro for diagnostics and claims, or Hospitals for inpatient, nursing, emergency and theatre workflows.
-
Agree the actual hosting region, backups and support access before implementation. NextHealth uses an in-country cloud region wherever regulation requires it; this page does not assert that a local environment is already provisioned.
