JAWDA quality programme
We are completing Flow Quality indicators for JAWDA needs. Live calculations and dashboards are not claimed; confirm each indicator before planning implementation.
Set by Department of Health, Abu Dhabi
What this is
JAWDA is the Department of Health Abu Dhabi performance measurement programme for healthcare providers. Its indicators are defined by service and facility type, and the Department publishes the guidance.
What is built
- Available Flow clinical audit tools record and score submitted assessments.
- Clinical audit results are retained month by month for review.
- Flow policy workflows record named preparation, review and approval stages.
- Flow Quality indicators remains under completion, without confirmed live JAWDA calculations.
What your auditor or regulator sees
Your team can inspect the available audit records and policy approvals when those modules are selected. These are supporting quality-management records, not a demonstrated JAWDA submission dataset. This page does not claim calculated numerators, denominators, exclusions, indicator dashboards or regulator-ready returns from the unfinished Quality indicators capability.
How the record supports your review
JAWDA evaluation starts with the applicable facility guidance and reporting period. DoH publishes guidance by service and facility type, so a generic indicator label cannot establish that the correct definition has been applied. The clinical population, look-back rules, exclusions and evidence needed for a calculation must be resolved for each indicator before a software output is relied upon.
Bring the indicator definitions used by your facility to a requirements discussion. Ask the team which capabilities are available now and which remain under completion. General clinical audit scores are useful for reviewing recorded practice, but they are not interchangeable with JAWDA measures. The same distinction applies to patient experience measures available within their separate Flow module.
Before adopting any future calculation, agree the source records, reporting period and validation process with the accountable team. Review representative inclusions, exclusions and source values rather than accepting a percentage without its supporting population. These are recommended acceptance questions, not a claim that an indicator validation engine or automated submission already exists.
Continue the facility’s established reporting arrangements until the required capability has been demonstrated and accepted. The linked Quality indicators page is a status page, not an available-module promise. No release date or automatic JAWDA calculation is provided here, and the facility’s responsible person remains accountable for reviewing and attesting to any eventual submission.

What we claim, precisely
The system holds the evidence; the facility's accountable person attests. Nothing here asserts that a facility is compliant.
Common questions
-
No live JAWDA calculation or general Quality indicator dashboard is claimed. Flow Quality indicators is still being completed, so confirm the specific available scope before planning any reporting change.
-
No. Available clinical audit scores describe their own assessments and should not be substituted for JAWDA indicators. Each required measure needs its applicable definition, source evidence and reporting-period validation.
-
That capability is not confirmed. Review each indicator’s population, exclusions, look-back period and source data with the product team before relying on any proposed calculation.
-
Continue your established reporting arrangements and applicable facility guidance. A replacement should only be adopted after the required calculations, evidence and review process have been demonstrated and accepted.
-
Your indicator definitions, source systems, reporting periods and who validates each figure. This is a requirements discussion about scope that is still being completed, not a demonstration of live indicator reporting.
