ISO 9001 quality management systems
We support controlled document evidence with versions, signatures and dates in Flow, helping your team inspect the approved documents used in its quality processes. This is one supporting workflow, not a quality management system.
Set by ISO
Subject type: standard. ISO 9001 sets requirements for a quality management system, and a certification body assesses an organisation against it. This page covers one supporting workflow, controlled documents and their review evidence.
What is built
- Flow Document hub keeps controlled document versions.
- Issue and expiry dates support document review.
- Signatures and reminders support the described document workflow.
Illustrative example: from a new version to approval
This example uses synthetic data. A synthetic clinic issues version 2 of its hand hygiene procedure. Flow keeps the new version beside version 1, records the signatures, shows the issue and expiry dates and reminds the responsible person before the document expires. A reviewer can see which version was approved, by whom and when it next needs review.
Scope and edition
Name the edition and the clause context your certification body applies. This page maps no clause and does not present one module as complete quality management system coverage or certification readiness. Leadership, process performance, internal review and any certification decision need evidence beyond a document repository.
What the record does not show
The record shows which document was approved and when it needs review. It does not show that every member of staff has read it or that the process is effective. Staff readership is not inferred from approval signatures.
Official source
ISO 9001. ISO publishes the standard. No ISO 9001 certificate or complete management-system implementation is claimed.
What we claim, precisely
The system holds the evidence; the facility's accountable person attests. Nothing here asserts that a facility is compliant.
Common questions
-
No. Flow provides document evidence that can support your quality management system. Certification and assessment concern the organisation and its processes, not the presence of a document module.
-
Document control only. Flow’s Document hub keeps versions, signatures and dates for controlled documents. The wider quality management system, and the clause your certification body applies, are outside this page.
-
No. A signature shows who approved a version. Flow keeps no record that staff have read it, so readership is not inferred from approvals.
